Le Petit Feuillant Chambres D'hôtes
Le Petit Feuillant is a family-run chambres d’hotes located in the heart of Gascony, an hour outside of Toulouse.
Ensconced in the rolling emerald hills and never-ending fields of golden sunflowers that characterise this South Westerly corner of France, Le Petit Feuillant is the perfect setting for a quiet, relaxing holiday in the French countryside.
Run by English couple David and Vikki Chance, this renovated seventeenth-century farmhouse boasts four classically furnished rooms all complete with en suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. Guests of Le Petit Feuillant have access to three, private, south-facing terraces all of which afford unparalleled views of the surrounding Gascon countryside and are equipped with sun loungers to allow guests to take advantage of the region’s Mediterranean climate. Relaxation at this traditional, French chambres d’hotes is encouraged further by a heated outdoor hot tub in which guests can indulge themselves after a busy day of local culture and sightseeing. (See our “Things to do” page to explore sightseeing options in and around Gramont).
Location: Le Petit Feuillant chambres and table d’hotes is located in Gramont; a quaint, quintessentially rural French village belonging to the department of the Tarn-en Garonne. Like David, Vikki and their family, Gramont is a close-knit, welcoming community that instantly makes you feel at home. Although small (the population currently numbers 12), the village itself has a well-preserved renaissance Chateau complete with original art work and tapestries, a stain-glassed chapel, and Europe’s largest Honey Museum. Aside from serving as the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding areas of the Gers, Toulouse and the Pyrenees, Gramont itself offers an array of cultural and touristic activities to keep any couple, young family or solo traveller occupied.
